Natural leadership in my personal life and professional life is to me to become really ME. Nature is a wonderful mirror and learns you lessons that every action has a consequence. It’s all related. Making use of all my senses leads to use the wisdom that’s inside and the lessons in nature have given me the confidence that this power is the engine and food how to lead my life.
Natural Leadership creates impact because it’s all about authenticity and believing. That’s not a technique about using leadership styles it’s about being really you. I will be your facilitator in the wilderness leadership trails in South Africa, together with two inspiring guides from our partner organisation in Durban. These special people are experts in creating the right conditions for rediscovering the equilibrium in your inner Self, your surroundings and the present.
The experiences of past trails and the time I lived in Rwanda incentivise me to act as a trail facilitator. It’s a joy to see how participants find answers to their personal questions and how their personal growth is reactivated.
Wayne te BrakeLocal guide
Wayne is a Wilderness Trails Guide with more than sixteen years of experience in the Nature Conservation and Field Guiding industry. Along with a degree in Nature Conservation, he has obtained the FGASA Specialist Knowledge & Skills (SKS) Dangerous Game and Birding qualification as well as Tracker Level 3 through CyberTracker, including Track&Sign Specialist. Wayne is also registered CATHSSETA and FGASA assessor. For more than a decade, the majority of his time has been spent either leading Primitive Backpack Trails or Training aspiring Trails Guides in the Kruger National Park and surrounding Private Nature Reserves. He has accumulated >10 000 walking (trails guiding) hours. Wayne has a calm and relaxed nature, which rubs off on clients and students, making him a popular guide and trainer. With his deep Wilderness connection, and a special interest in tracking and botany, time spent with him in the bush is always enriching and rewarding.
